2008 GACCE Washington Fly-In
Monday, September 8 - Wednesday, September 10, 2008
The group will be staying at the Washington Court Hotel (http://www.washingtoncourthotel.com/), and the cost to participate in the Fly-In will again be $900 for a single room / $800 to share a room. (GACCE does not accept credit cards.) The flights for the event are as follows:
Monday, September 8 – AirTran flight 199 – departs ATL 2:15pm, arrives DCA 3:54pm
Wednesday, September 10 – AirTran flight 175 – departs DCA 12:34pm, arrives ATL 2:25pm
This is a great opportunity for you and your volunteer leadership to meet with our Senators and Representatives in Washington. We will begin with a group reception Monday evening at the hotel; Tuesday morning we will meet with our Senators; Tuesday afternoon will be left open for you to schedule meetings with your Representatives or other Washington agencies; and Tuesday night we will participate in the Georgia Chamber’s Congressional Reception.
The cost of the Fly-In will cover your airfare, transportation to and from the airport in Washington, and your hotel room. All you need to do is sign up, and I take care of everything for you – it couldn’t be any easier!
We will again limit the number of participants per Chamber to five (5) until we are able to open any remaining seats. Names of your participants must be received by the GACCE office by Monday, August 4.
