GACCE provides scholarships each year to deserving members. GACCE provides these scholarships to help chamber professionals broaden their knowledge of the profession and expand their careers. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis based on (1) the applicant's perceived need of financial assistance, (2) the applicant's perceived dedication and commitment to the chamber profession, and (3) the applicant's history of participation in GACCE functions and programs.
We are pleased to announce that the following scholarships are available for the 2008-2009 fiscal year:
U.S. Chamber Institute for Organizational Management - 2 available
ACCE Convention - 2 available
GACCE Annual Conference - 2 available
GACCE Leadership Conference - 3 available
GACCE Staff Clinic - 6 available
The Institute Scholarships cover the cost of tuition for the Institute Program at the University of Georgia, and the membershp professional's scholarship can be used for Institute tuition or the expenses incurred through attendance at the ACCE Convention. The funds for these scholarships are reimbursed to the recipient's Chamber of Commerce once a paid credit card statement or canceled check is presented to GACCE.
The scholarships for the GACCE events will cover the costs of registration fees and hotel room (except incidentals). These funds will be credited to the recipient's Chamber.
