GACCE truly does provide excellent resources, tools and connections for the chamber executive.  While president of the Americus-Sumter chamber, GACCE was invaluable to me and later, as a board member, it gave me even more credibility among my peers and my community.  There’s always someone who’s been there…someone who’s smarter than I – and I always knew where to go for answers (and empathy!)

Mary Ellen McClanahan, IOM
Director, Entrepreneur & Small Business
Georgia Department of Economic Development

Since entering the chamber profession almost 6 years ago, GACCE has been the best resource for my questions on anything to do with chambers and their operations.  I've been blown away by GACCE and its membership, as they work to make chambers and chamber executives successful within the state of Georgia.

Tommy Jennings
Barrow County Chamber

GACCE has provided wonderful networking for Chamber executives, as well as, numerous professional development opportunities critical to what we do. The organization has afforded an invaluable service to me personally and has remained on the cutting edge of the learning curve I need to stay well-versed on surviving the challenges and embracing the joys associated with our Chamber of Commerce.

Angela Westra
Americus-Sumter County Chamber

GACCE has been an excellent resource for our Chamber in terms of professional and organizational development.  The conferences, clinics, and resource guides have helped us grow and strive to constantly improve.

Christie Haynes
Dawson County Chamber

GACCE has been instrumental in my development as a Chamber Executive! It’s truly a rare combination of education, networking, and lots of fun.

Ralph Staffins, III
Thomson-McDuffie County Chamber

GACCE has been instrumental in helping me hone my professional skills.  Spending time with like-minded pros at GACCE events has made me a better Chamber President and my board has noticed the difference.

Jerry Connell
Adel-Cook County Chamber

Being a member of GACCE has provided me with excellent peer-to-peer networking and relationship building opportunities.  Additionally, the training and conferences provided throughout the year allows all levels of staff an opportunity to further develop skills and best practices within the industry.  I would highly recommend membership in this organization for new executives and seasoned executives alike.

Tiffany Andrews
Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber

GACCE not only provides wonderful opportunities for the professional development of my staff, volunteers, and myself but through GACCE I also have a network of peers available on speed dial to learn from, bounce ideas off of, and to listen.

Paige Green
Gilmer County Chamber

Our Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives has helped many of our members, including me to stay on top of “cutting edge” programs to improve our communities and especially our professionals. Not only are the variety of seminars and the sessions at our conferences helpful, but the interaction and networking with others helps us to not waste time and money “reinventing the wheel” which is so prevalent in our profession. If you want to change something or try out something “new”, you can almost always be sure it has been tried before and perfected by another member chamber exec somewhere.  You can learn from their experience and revise it to suit your chamber and community and be a “hero”!! GACCE is a great organization and I am proud to be a member and a member of your Board of Directors.

Fred Boscarino, GCCE
President & CEO
Conyers-Rockdale Chamber

GACCE offers timely and relevant information specific to the Chamber industry.  The ROI of this membership is off the charts!

Cindy Williams
Blairsville-Union County Chamber

My membership in the Georgia Association Chamber of Commerce Executives (GACCE) assisted me in my beginning days as a Chamber Executive and continues to be a superb resource and a smart investment. This organization will provide the basics as well as best practices necessary to succeed and you will establish friendships that will last a life time.  The GACCE is about creating and supporting excellence, not competition. The organization and staff endeavor to enhance and promote professional growth and competence of chamber of commerce executives. This organization continues to evolve and has formed strategic partnerships and alliances with other organizations to better represent a unified voice for business and support local chambers.

Wally Orrel
Executive Director
Darien-McIntosh County Chamber

GACCE provides:
A chance to learn the ropes since most chamber execs. come from other professions.
A chance to meet and learn from some of the best and most respected execs.
A chance to gain a national perspective on chamber trends.
A chance to compare, benchmark, and connect with resources.
A chance to learn best practices and have access to other peers information, knowledge, and experience. (Free R and D – rob and duplicate with permission)
GACCE creates the opportunity to re-charge, renew, and inspire each of us at regional and statewide gatherings. Simply put, GACCE equips us with the knowledge, information, resources, contacts, and encouragement to help us be the best chamber professionals we can be.
